Outstanding service and food!  I had the linguine and clams, and was the best I ever had!  Full bar and they make an excellent Manhattan and a better Old Fashion.  Love this place.

Great Italian. Awesome caesar, cool location in an old church, love their carbonara too! If your looking for good Italian come here! Huge portions. Also love their pizza to go!

I don't know why it took us so long to try this restaurant. I believe it's been there for at least two years. I think it's because the place that was in this particular building prior was so poor that I was left not wanting to go back. I decided to go back into the building on our anniversary. What a great choice! We all know that Novato is a food waste land and there are plenty of places that are empty that people can put restaurants in. Village was everything I hoped it would be and more! We were greeted immediately and sent to a beautiful table. I couldn't believe how crowded it was on a Tuesday but that's an indication of how good it is. We started out with a glass of champagne each to toast our 25 years together. We both ordered the soup of the day which was minestrone. It was absolutely fabulous and it seemed like it was homemade. Next step were our meals and my guy got pasta pesto with chicken and I ordered the chicken Parmesan with veggies and a side of spaghetti. Absolutely giant portions, I had it for lunch the next day. The prices are so reasonable and the food is excellent. Lots of choices too. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning, possibly tonight!

First time here, will return. EXCELLENT  food, good service. A little pricy but portions are large and very delicious.
Everyone loved it, all had a full meal of leftovers. Busy  even on a Wednesday night, a good sign.

Chicken Parmigiana, grilled crispy veggies and pesto noodles. AWESOME

Chicken Alfredo delicious. All came with a bread roll none of us had ever seen, with a depression in the center filled with warm seasoned butter. Daughter "this is the bomb"

Yep, really was. Check this place out, parking out back.

Fantastic, fluffy pizza! Just moved from NYC, and we've been hard-pressed to find good pizza options out here on the west coast (let alone Novato), but Village Pizzeria takes the pie :) We ordered Quattro Formaggi and Club Med, and both had buoyant, fluffy crust and tasty toppings. Only wish they had delivery as an option!

Their happy hour was amazing all of the employees were great,  we arrived on a Thursday at 5:30 and the bartender was our server and the bartender.  He did a very good job but he was very busy. The table next to us left because they did not get service.
We all had chicken Parmesan served with pasta and veggies Yum
But the best was the happy hour appetizer it was a crunchy garlic cheese something.
It was almost like a pizza with the crispy crust. I will go back again.

Let me just start this off with, I LOVE NOVATO!!! The cutest little town with the cutest little shops and restaurants. Found this place on my way back from the ocean and it was a good find! It feels very homey inside. They have a very nice full bar, TVs to watch any sports games and lots of yummy food options. They have many salads, pastas, and pizzas to choose from. Last night I decided to get a large half and half, I was not disappointed! The pizza was soooo yummy, good flavor on the sauce, good cheese ratio and fresh ingredients. I was very pleased with service and food. Good job guys and thanks for taking care of me.

This is my first five star restaurant! I love the food at this wonderful restaurant!!! The waitstaff try their best to please each and every customer. They did an excellent job on Sunday September 22, @ around 6:15pm!!!! They had two large tables filled and they still managed to serve me rather quickly!!!! I had the Happy Hour Menu Items. Reasonably priced and filled me up! And I must admit... I am a chow hound!!!!The restaurant is a converted church but they made it work with a nice full bar and a couple of big screen TVs for watching Football and Baseball Simultaneously. It is located at Grant and Second Street here in lovely Novato. They have areas for outside seating if you so desire and two of the outside tables utilize wine barrels as the leg. They are  cool looking and I think I will build some for my yard. Well come and enjoy this great place!!! I highly recommend it.

First off, shout out to this place for being the only restaurant open during the PG&E power shut off!
The had 4 generators, great food, a full bar and football on the lone television.
We've been here several times and the food is consistently good. Sometimes the service is slow, but I think the reason is our server was also tending bar and hostessing.
There is outdoor seating, a couple large tables for bigger parties and a long bar.
Novato should be embracing this place since they put the community first during a trying 4 days with no power. What's the thanks they get? Some scumbag broke into a locked enclosure and stole one of the generators!
Give this place some love in return. They deserve it!
